We’ve had four conversations about this energy. Here’s the quick overview.
First, we met the She Sees the Details energy. The voice of “I think.” The one who can take something complicated, something abstract, something that’s been floating around without a clear shape, and organize it into something that makes sense. The person you call when you need the right words for the thing you can’t quite say yourself.
Then we met Miss Cranky Pants in the She Sees the Details energy. Drowning in details that keep multiplying instead of organizing. Over-preparing as a way of avoiding the discomfort of moving forward without complete certainty. Or going vague and wordless, so overwhelmed by the information that nothing comes out at all. Both versions come from the same place. The fear of not being ready. The plan and the planning overriding the flow, overriding the doing.
After that, we talked about what the She Sees the Details energy looks like in everyday life when it’s working. The ability to organize information in a way that other people can use. The email that explains the situation. The document that makes the project make sense. The person in the room who listens to a messy situation and boils it down to the three things that matter. And the practice of trusting that the right detail will surface at the right moment, rather than trying to think of everything in advance.
And then the highest version of the She Sees the Details energy, the Impeccable Interpreter. The one who has stopped trying to include every detail and started trusting herself to choose the right ones. Who leaves things out with confidence. Who relaxes into her own alignment and trusts that she’ll know what she needs to know when she needs to know it. Whose communication lands because it’s precise, not because it’s complete.
So here’s the question to sit with today.
Where are you adding more detail because you’re afraid of moving forward without certainty, rather than because the detail is needed?
And here’s a small next step for you to try.
The next time you’re preparing to explain something, write down the three most important things you want the listener to understand. Just three. Leave everything else out. Share only those three. Just like I had my students do.
Notice how much more clearly it lands when the details are chosen rather than collected.
