You don’t have to finish everything you start. You just have to be honest about what’s ready to be let go.
We have had four conversations about the She Starts Things energy. Here is the quick run through.
First, we met She Starts Things. This energy sees opportunities everywhere and feels the genuine excitement of a fresh beginning. It hears the voice that says I feel the pressure to start another project even though I have four more I need to finish. The spark. The initiator. The one who brings things into existence that would not exist without her.
Then we met Miss Cranky Pants. She stares at the trail of unfinished things and feels terrible about every one of them. The guilt about the half-read books and the abandoned projects. The fear of beginning again because the last beginning did not reach completion. And underneath all of it, a misunderstanding of what She Starts Things is really here to do.
After that, we talked about what this energy looks like in everyday life when it is working. Beginning and completing are two different skills. She Starts Things is brilliantly designed for one of them. Recognizing that is not settling. That is self-awareness used wisely. Knowing which things to begin, choosing the right timing, and finding the people who can carry forward what you start. That is She Starts Things using her energy with intention.
And then the best version of yourself in this energy. The Opportunity Expander. The Inner Saint. The one who has stopped apologizing for what she does not finish and started celebrating what she brings into existence. Who chooses her beginnings with care. Who brings others along. Who understands her role in the larger picture and plays it with confidence and grace.
So here is the question worth sitting with today.
Where in your life right now are you carrying guilt about something unfinished that was never really yours to finish? And where is a new beginning calling to you that you have been holding back on because of that guilt?
And here is a small next step if you want one.
Look at your current list of unfinished things. Pick one. Make a conscious choice about it. Either recommit to it with a clear next step, pass it to someone who can move it forward, or consciously close it and release the guilt.
You do not have to finish everything you start. You just have to be honest with yourself about what deserves another beginning and what is ready to be let go.
Now. A new energy is coming our way.
Our next energy is one I find fascinating because it is about the details underneath the big picture. The nuance. The way things really work when you get close enough to check them out. The one who can take something complicated and make it make sense.
Meet She Sees the Details. Coming up next on The Daily Dose.
Find your happy. Love what you do. Make a difference. Come back to me safely. See ya!
